Brightspace: Setting up your Grade Book (Assessment data)

Please note: this workshop is not funded by the National Forum and is primarily for Brightspace users at TU Dublin.

Interested in learning how to access, manage, analyse and export assessment data from within your Brightspace module? Facilitated by Niall Dixon (IT Training Manager, TU Dublin), this workshop provides an introduction to the Grade Book in Brightspace. By the end of the workshop you should be able to:

• create an assessment map for your module
• set up a corresponding Grade Book for your module (including creating grade items and choosing a grading system)
• create an assessment and link this to the Grade Book
• evaluate and provide feedback on an assessment submission and release this to the student within the Grade Book.
• configure Student View Options within the Grade Book
